About Us
Coastways has been trading since 1987, firstly as a sole trader under private ownership and then as a limited company since 1999. Our head office and main storage facility is situated within the M2 Business Park, Belfast.
We are proud of our staff retention record and have a wealth of experience within our team in both the storage and removals and records management industries. All employees are security vetted to a minimum of Access NI Basic Check (BC) level. Warehouse operatives, porters and drivers wear uniforms and carry staff identification badges.
We operate an Environmental policy in line with our ISO 14001:2015 accreditation which ensures we are constantly striving to reduce the impact of our services on the environment and to reduce our carbon footprint; this has been demonstrated recently in our new 7.5 tonne Mercedes-Benz Atego trucks. These vehicles meet Euro 5 emissions limits and come fitted as standard with a motor stop start (MSS) system. The MSS system boosts fuel economy and cuts emissions. Other environmental initiatives include auditing fuel usage, sourcing boxes made from recycled materials, recycling office paper and employing an energy saving mind-set within our facilities.
As an active member of the British Association of Removers (BAR), a leading removal and storage industry association, we abide by the BAR Code of Practice. We adhere to the British Association of Removers Alternative Dispute Resolution Scheme which is independently operated by;
